TESTAMENT's legacy goes beyond their music. This band has influenced countless others in more than just the thrash metal genre. They are not just a thrash legend. Aside from the fact that they can write just about any song to include a strong moment, some melody, and have a solid structure, they have Chuck Billy behind the microphone. That is to say, Mr. Singer, who, when he gets into it, rips the first layer off the road, and conversely, when he savors the tone, melts the whipped cream in the whole candy store. There aren't many singers like him on the planet.

But the same goes for TESTAMENT themselves. They have never been mindless, purposeful rubes, but the thrash metal performed by them has a professorial detachment. With a career spanning several decades, Testament remain a vital and respected entity in the global metal community. They will also bring their new album to Brutal Assault, which they promise to release towards the end of 2023.
